You will lead a diverse team geographically based across the country supporting and partnering with MDLZ DSD Retail organization and local Walmart Leadership. Partner with Walmart Operations (HQ and Locally). Responsible for engaging and selling to Walmart Store Operations Leadership at the BU SVP Leadership teams across Supercenters, D1 and Neighborhood market stores. Work directly with Mondelez Retail DSD organization by developing and providing best in class communications including priorities and selling materials with the DSD and Warehouse item portfolio to maximize incremental volume and profit opportunities. Engage with MDLZ DSD Retail Leadership routinely. Drive the P&L to achieve strong financial results. Develop strategies to drive executional excellence – DSD & Warehouse. Strategize on DSD of the future with a firm ‘shoes of the shopper’ understanding and a Vision 2030 lens. Ensure excellence in-store with routines and tracking. Use Walmart’s Scintilla data to gather insights to implement efficient strategies to improve selling and delivery KPIs including First Time Pick & In-stocks. Leverage data extensively to drive the business (refusals, receiving, etc.). Be comfortable working in team and across systems. Share best practices around execution, sales tools, activation, etc. Requires strong leadership and people management experience in FMCG/CPG, in-depth knowledge of country trade environment and commercial leverages, well-developed communication and negotiation skills, broad knowledge of using data to create insights and converting them to simplified selling material, experience working across HQ, Customer teams and stores managing messaging and influencing execution of front line sales and merchandisers. Education: Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Job specific requirements: 10+ years of experience in the CPG industry including people leadership, previous Walmart experience, DSD and sales strategy experience, strong communication skills, financial acumen & P&L experience, advanced proficiency with data analytics tools. Travel: 20% travel required. Work schedule: full time, hybrid position based at Sales Office in Rogers, AR.
