We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting various human resources functions, including leave management, recruitment coordination, and maintaining accurate employee records. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance to employees regarding leave policies and ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
• Review and evaluate incoming resumes to identify candidates with relevant experience for open positions and streamline the hiring process.
• Maintain thorough and organized employee documentation, including leave records and recruitment files.
• Coordinate interview schedules and follow-ups with candidates to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
• Answer and manage inquiries via a multi-line phone system, providing timely and well-organized responses.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to employees and applicants, addressing concerns promptly.
• Perform accurate data entry tasks related to employee records and recruitment activities.
• Manage email correspondence efficiently, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain files to ensure easy access to important HR documents.• Previous experience in human resources or a related field.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and managing inquiries effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to address employee and candidate needs.
• Excellent organizational abilities, including managing files and records.
• Competence in data entry and maintaining accuracy in documentation.
• Effective email communication skills for interacting with employees and candidates.
• Familiarity with leave policies and HR regulations is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
