About Us: Tamarac Medical is a leading provider of specialized laboratory analysis for at-risk children, and adults employed in lead-exposed environments. We’ll train you to operate state-of-the-art lab instruments (ICP-MS) and look to you to help us maximize use of these instruments. Position Overview: As a Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician at Tamarac Medical, you will play a crucial role in our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses to ultimately assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities :

• Conducting laboratory tests and analyses on patient samples, primarily liquid and dried blood, but possibly urine in the future, and using advanced laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Performing quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records of test results and reporting findings via LIMS to physicians and other healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with internal teams to interpret test results and contribute to patient care decisions.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in laboratory science and technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and instrumentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a small group environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
