Job Description

The Charleston RiverDogs, the Single-A Affiliate for the Tampa Bay Rays, are currently hiring for Part-Time Seasonal Staff for the 2025 Season. Game Time Bar Back Game Time Bar Back is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area within a stadium, supporting bartenders by replenishing drinks, ice, garnishes, and glassware, ensuring smooth operations during events by quickly responding to needs, and adhering to all health and safety regulations while providing excellent customer service to guests in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities: Stock Management:

• Regularly check and replenish inventory of beer, liquor, wine, mixers, ice, and garnishes at the bar.
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and proper expiry dates.
• Receive and properly store new beverage deliveries.
• Set up bar with necessary supplies including glassware, napkins, straws, and cocktail shakers.

Bartender Support:

• Promptly respond to bartender requests for drinks, ice, garnishes, and glassware.
• Bus dirty glasses and clear spills from the bar area.
• Assist with food delivery to the bar from the kitchen when needed.

Operational Support:

• Monitor beer taps and ensure proper functionality.
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after events.
• Follow all stadium policies and procedures regarding alcohol service.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, managers, and other staff.

Required skills: Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly around the bar area. Attention to detail: Maintain a clean and organized bar environment. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with bartenders and other staff. Customer service: Interact positively with guests and address their needs promptly.
