Film Marketing Assistant

Position Details:

Marketing Assistant (Hybrid – Film Marketing Support)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT

Pay Rate: $22/hour on W-2

Assignment Duration: 5 months with possibility of extension

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic film marketing team. This hybrid role will provide critical support to Senior Coordinators and Coordinators on various digital and promotional campaigns for our films. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and a passion for the entertainment industry.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with internship or early professional experience who is excited to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly visible marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sr. Coordinator and Coordinator on project management tasks across digital film campaigns and custom programs.
• Support in the management of banner ads, media rotations, digital promotions, and delivery of creative assets.
• Schedule meetings, greet visitors, and provide general administrative support to the VP and broader team.
• Help process contracts and ensure timely handling of invoices with internal stakeholders.
• Participate in digital content development — including imagery, descriptions, and videos.
• Engage in community management for brand social channels and contribute to content planning.
• Help maintain tracking of competitive advertising, promotions, and industry trends.
• Support internal CRM initiatives and 1st party data activation efforts.
• Attend team brainstorms and collaborate cross-functionally to execute marketing deliverables.
• Monitor and report on digital campaign performance and audience engagement.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience (internships included).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong team orientation and willingness to collaborate.
• Genuine interest in marketing and film/media campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working at or with a marketing agency.
• Familiarity with office tools: Google Suite, Adobe products, MS Office.
• Personal passion for film, TV, or entertainment marketing.
• Understanding of social media platforms, digital trends, and digital marketing principles.

This role is not a creative production role — candidates should be focused on film marketing, campaign execution, and digital media operations. Candidates looking for roles in creative development or production should not apply.

$20 - $22/hour on W-2
