Accountant – Schaumburg, IL (Entry Level - will train)
$55,000 - $57,000/Annually + Bonus eligible, hybrid, health, vision, dental, 401k, 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored outings, cafeteria and gym on site!

This is an exciting opportunity to launch your accounting career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work closely with our Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure the financial health and accuracy of the business—from the vineyard to the tasting room and beyond. In this role, you’ll assist with a variety of duties all while helping refine and maintain internal procedures. You’ll gain exposure to both operational and financial reporting and contribute to building a strong foundation for future growth.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post recurring and routine month-end journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for low-volume and recurring accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor daily cash flow activity and support timely completion of weekly bank reconciliations.
• Upload EFT payments, verify check approvals, and resolve banking discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Assist internal audit efforts by compiling and submitting required supporting documentation.
• Support client billing and financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Analyze operational expenses and identify trends to support budget management and cost control for assigned departments.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies through detailed analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Accountant (Trainee) Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various accounting software
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
